The random inspection results showed that the overall quality of the ceramic tile products was good, the sampling qualification rate of the large and medium-sized enterprises was 100%, and the qualified rate of the small-scale enterprises was 72.5%, and the product quality problems were more.
The main quality issues reflected in this spot check are large product size deviations, inconsistent water absorption rates and apparent failure, low failure strengths and rupture moduli, and radioactivity of individual products exceeding the standard requirements.
The first is that the radionuclide limit exceeded the limit. There were 2 kinds of product radioactivity tests failed in this spot check. The mandatory national standard GB6566-2001 "Limits for radionuclides of building materials" stipulates: The radioactivity of Class A decoration materials should meet the internal radiation index ≤ 1.0 and the external radiation index ≤ 1.3 at the same time. Excessive radionuclides in building materials will cause damage to human health.
Second, the failure strength and fracture modulus do not meet the standard requirements. There were 4 kinds of product's breaking strength and 6 kinds of product's breaking modulus failed in this spot check. Destruction strength and modulus of rupture are important technical indicators of ceramic tiles. Products with low failure strength and rupture modulus can easily cause cracking, crushing or surface defects during use.
The third is that the water absorption rate is not up to the standard. There are four kinds of products in the spot check the water absorption rate and the requirements of the explicit standards are inconsistent, such as enamel brick products, the standard water absorption rate is greater than 6% less than or equal to 10%, and some products actually test results greater than 10%.
Fourth, the size of the deviation exceeded. There are seven kinds of product size deviation from the actual size in the spot check exceeds the standard requirements.
