Its lifting capacity can meet the lifting and high-precision piling of single piles below 1,000 tons, which indicates that China has achieved major technological breakthroughs in the field of offshore wind power operation platforms and realized key technology innovations for shipbuilding in this field.

China's development of offshore wind resources is lagging behind

China has more than 18,000 kilometers of mainland coastline and can use up to 3 million square kilometers of sea area. Wind energy resources are mainly distributed in the northeast, north, northwest and southeast coastal areas, and it is one of the world's most abundant wind energy resources in Shanghai. It is estimated that by the end of 2020, the installed capacity of offshore wind power in China will reach 30 million kilowatts.

However, at present, in the distribution of offshore wind power projects, Europe occupies most of the market share. In the 1980s and 1990s, Europe had already conducted a relatively large number of offshore wind resource assessments and related technical research work, and its technical means have become increasingly mature. However, relevant research in our country has only just begun and there is still a lack of research on offshore wind turbine installation and other technologies. The research and development of large-scale, complete sets, special-purpose and industrialized technical equipment such as special-purpose transportation vessels, piling vessels, installation platforms, cable-laying vessels, O&M vessels, and special underwater equipment for offshore wind power construction has become a technical problem to be solved urgently.

For the first time to achieve domestic technology integration across industries

The new self-elevating offshore wind power operation platform was jointly issued by CNR Ship and Ocean Engineering Development Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Chonghe Industrial Co., Ltd. The first time it had achieved cross-industry technology integration in China. The use of CNR's high-speed rail technology in the dissemination of industry-wide spillovers and innovations to promote the integration and integration of large national equipment is also an integrated innovation on the entire ship system platform.

The new type of self-elevating offshore wind power operation platform is independently developed by China. Based on Shengfeng Type I, it carries out all-round optimization of technology and performance. It achieves the largest range of lifting capacity in terms of lifting capacity and meets the needs of large-scale development of wind turbines.
