Solar parking lot lighting is an efficient means to provide lighting without the need for standard utility power. It provides cost savings by eliminating the need to trench standard electric wires for installation and providing no electric bill for life. Commercial solar lights for parking lots have been installed in many businesses and the parking lots and provide security, sustainability, and an overall green image. It uses aluminum alloy, polycrystalline solar panel, led, motion sensor, and rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack composition. We have designed and developed solar parking lamps with good waterproof performance stability. Corn is highly vulnerable to disasters during the germination and emergence stages, which can lead to soil compaction, lower ground temperature, and poor air circulation. These conditions can hinder seed germination and emergence. After a disaster, it's crucial to loosen the soil promptly to improve warming and ventilation. Before the jointing to tasseling stage, especially before the "big trumpet" phase, corn may suffer from locust damage. If unextracted leaves are not damaged and the roots remain intact, timely cultivation and fertilization, along with proper field management, can still result in a good harvest. However, if the plant is damaged after heading, its ability to recover is significantly reduced, leading to major yield losses. According to surveys, hail-damaged corn that has been completely cut off cannot resume growth. But if the ear section remains intact, immediate management efforts should be made to promote plant growth and minimize yield loss.
Windstorms in July and August often cause corn plants to fall or break. If corn falls or stems are broken before maturity, they should be raised as soon as possible to avoid back pressure and reduce the impact on photosynthesis. For inverted corn, if only the roots are affected, the plant can be straightened. If the stem is broken, several plants can be bundled together to provide support and help them stand upright.
Corn is a crop that requires a lot of water and is not resistant to waterlogging. When soil moisture exceeds 80% of the field's water-holding capacity, it can negatively affect plant growth, especially during the seedling stage. In later growth stages, under high temperatures and rainy conditions, the rhizosphere may suffer from oxygen deficiency, leading to root necrosis and a rapid decline in plant vitality. This can cause premature drying and unripe ears, greatly impacting yield. According to field surveys, corn typically experiences 1 to 2 days of flooding around the tasseling stage, with minimal impact on yield. However, if the water is drained within 3 days, the loss is reduced by about 20%, and within 5 days, the reduction can reach up to 40%. For corn affected by waterlogging, it's essential to remove excess water from the field, reduce soil and air humidity, and encourage the plant to recover. When the field dries, timely soil cultivation should be done to break up crusted soil, prevent lodging, enhance soil permeability, and allow the roots to resume normal physiological functions. Applying quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer can also accelerate plant growth and reduce the impact of water stress. (Source: Farmers Daily)
